The 2009 and 2010 schemes achieved funds of £2.7 million resulting in 543 bonuses of £10,000 being paid out directly to Winning Owners.
The 2011 scheme is projected to achieve a fund of £2 million for bonuses during 2012 and 2013 (in GB and Ireland only). With prizemoney levels going through a challenging time it is a great incentive to buy a horse that is eligible for the bonus and give yourself a chance of winning that extra £10,000.
The Yearling Bonus Scheme is now in it’s third year and to date £7.5 million has been paid into the fund by Owners, Breeders, Vendors and Sales company’s and 533 bonuses have been paid out. Owners of eligible racehorses stand the chance of winning £10,000 bonus if their horse wins a ‘selected’ maiden race. The entire fund raised from registration fees is paid out in bonuses in GB, Ireland and across Europe and as far as Singapore. Initiated in 2009 the Scheme is a not for profit venture
