Gr.2 Meydan Superlative Stakes at Newmarket
Silver Grecian stayed unbeaten when gaining black type in the Meydan. The two-year-olds contest was run over 7 furlongs on the 19th of July during the 2009 Newmarket July Festival.
Silver Grecian earned a £10,000 bonus on his first of three outings to date. A Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale graduate, the Haafhd colt was purchased by John Ryan Racing for 16,000 guineas from the Ed Peate consignment.
Silver Grecian is now the earner of £63,835 including his maiden-earned Breeze Up Bonus.

Nilene was another Arqana graduate to win a £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus when taking the Prix de la Chambotte at Aix-les-Bains. The Chineur filly comfortably landed this 10 furlongs maiden by four lengths on her promising debuts.
Owned by Barthelemy Vives, Nilene was bought for €10,000 by her current trainer Keven Borgel from the Bloodstock Connection consignment at the Saint Cloud Breeze Up Sale in May.
In only one race, Nilene's earnings of €6,500 to which can now be added the £10,000 Bonus are already covering up her selling price.

The Simon Callaghan trained two year old was a smart winner for his owners Hinge, Searchfield & Tamburro in a tough Lindley Catering Selling Stakes. The colt came away from the field in the final furlong, winning by 1 and a half lengths.
The two year old Le Vie De Colori colt was bought by Blandford Bloodstock for £36,000 when consigned by The Bloodstock Connection, Ireland at the Doncaster Bloodstock Breeze Up sale. This progressive colt’s total prize money earned to date, including the £5,000 Bonus, is £6,943 from just two starts.
24. SILVER GRECIAN

Silver Grecian produced a brave performance for his trainer John Ryan and owners Ocean Trailers Ltd in the InterCasino.co.uk Maiden Stakes at HQ.
The colt was a prominent runner throughout the race and made a bold run in the closing stages to go onto win by four lengths. The Haafhd colt was bought by John Ryan for 16,000 gns when consigned by Ed Peate at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up sale.
Silver Grecian defeated all eleven opponents and has now earned £15,181, due to the £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
23. BOULD MOVER
18th June- Musselburgh, UK
An impressive win for owners H Downs & D Looney and trainer Roger Curtis as Bould Mover wins the Linkfield Maiden Auction Stakes confidently.
The progressive two year old colt by Kyllachy kicked for home from a furlong out eventually winning by three and a quarter lengths. He gained his eligibility through the Goffs Breeze Up sale at Kempton, consigned by Knockanglass Stables.
Having already being placed in his previous start, the H Downs & D Looney-owned colt has now earned £13,644, thanks to a £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
22. SAXBY
16th June – Thirsk, UK
A double for owner Mrs M Findlay and trainer Mick Channon, thanks to the victory of Saxby in this selling stakes at Thirsk.
The Pastoral Pursuit colt also was a Gill Richardson purchase. He was sold at the Doncaster Breeze Up Sale by the Powerstown Stud consignment for £15,000.
Being the second £5,000 Breeze Up Bonus winner, Saxby is now the earner of £9,274.
21. AILSA CARMEL
15th June – Carlisle, UK
The Mick Channon-trained Ailsa Carmel was the first one home in this maiden auction stake at Carlisle.
The daughter of freshman Antonius Pius was sold at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale by Gill Richardson Bloodstock from Bansha House Stables for 16,000 guineas.
Already placed in two previous starts, the Mrs M Findlay-owned filly now earns £14,767 thanks to a £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
20. QUESTI AMORI
14th June – Livorno, ITY
Owned and trained by Maurizio Al Guarnieri, the first Italian Breeze Up Bonus graduate Questi Amori broke his maiden on second asking at the Livorno racecourse.
The Choisir colt was a Doncaster Breeze Up Sale £9,000 purchase. Bought by Federico Barberini from the Tally-Ho Stud consignment, Questi Amori proved a fruitful investment as he already earned a cumulated €4,250 prize money and £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
19. DECREE ABSOLUTE
9th June - Salisbury, UK
Decree Absolute broke his maiden on first asking at Salisbury, granting his owner and trainer Miss J R Tooth of a £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
The Orientate two-year-old was sold at the Doncaster Breeze Up Sale by the Knockanglass Stables. Purchased by Highflyer Bloodstock for £20,000, Decree absolute has cumulated £12,914 in only one start.
17. ARATAN
7th June - La Zarzuela, SP
The Delcher-trained Aratan was the first Breeze Up Bonus winner to graduate overseas. Defeating a field of unraced two-year-olds, the Arakan colt was a Goffs Kempton Breeze Up Sales purchase from the Oaks Farm Stables consignment.
Deicher Mauricio bought Aratan for £22,000 for current owner Cuadra Miranda S.L.
The winner of €6,000 prize money, Aratan also earned an extra £10,000 thanks to the Breeze Up Bonus scheme.
16. VICTOIRE DE LYPHAR
5th June - Doncaster, UK
Victoire de Lyphar was a smart winner in the Doncaster maiden auction stakes when defeating a field of eleven by three lengths and a quarter, providing a second Breeze Up Bonus winner in a row to trainer Patrick Haslam.
The two year old Bertolini colt was bought back by his vendor for 24,000 gns when consigned by Yeomanstown Stud at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze Up Sale.
Now owned by Middleham Park Racing Xviii, his total prize money earned to date, including the bonus, is £14,209 in only two starts.
15. WHISPERED TIMES
4th June - Hamilton, UK
Patrick Haslam-trained Whispered Times led home a field of seven in the Hamilton maiden auction stakes, becoming another Breeze Up Bonus winner on his second attempt.
The More Than Ready colt was a 29,000 gns purchase at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale this year. Bought by Peter Doyle Bloodstock from the Lynn Lodge Stud consignment, Whispered Times is now owned by Mrs E O'Leary.
Whispered Times is thus adding a £10,000 bonus to his £2,831 prize money.
14. EMPEROR CLAUDIUS
3rd June – Fairyhouse, IRE
The winning team of trainer Aidan O’Brien and owners M Tabor, D Smith and Mrs John Magnier struck again when Emperor Claudius dominated the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Auction Maiden at Fairyhouse.
This promising two year old colt by Giant’s Causeway made all the running and shook off his challengers one and a half furlongs out, winning impressively by two and a half lengths in front of a sixteen strong field.
Emperor Claudius advanced from the Goffs Breeze Up Sale at Kempton where he was entered under the Lynn Lodge Stud consignment. He was placed in his previous start and has earned prize money of £20,296, which includes the £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
13. BOW BEAVER
1st June - Carlisle, UK
Bow Weaver follows Group 2 winner South Central’s footsteps when landing this Median Auction Maiden Stakes at Carlisle. One of only two debutants in the race, the Howard Johnson-trained colt made the best of his more experienced competitors.
From the third crop of the late US-based stallion Vindication, Bow Beaver was a 35,000gns purchase at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale. Bought by agent Bobby O’Ryan from the Kilminfoyle House Stud consignment, the bay colt is now owned by W M G Black and his trainer J Howard Johnson.
As a maiden winner, Bow Beaver has earned a Bonus of £10,000 added to a £3,238 prize money.
12. ROSE BLOSSOM
29th May - Hamilton, UK
The only debutant in the line up, Rose Blossom was an impressive winner of the Maiden Auction Stakes at Hamilton, breaking the all-age track record that had stood since 1972.
The Richard Fahey-trained filly, consigned by Ballyhane Stud at the DBS Breeze Up Sale, was purcahsed by Bobby O’Ryan for £21,000.
From her sire’s first crop, the Pastoral Pursuit filly cumulates £2,730 prize money with a Breeze Up Bonus of £10,000 for her current owner J J Staunton.
11. ANGEL'S PURSUIT
22nd May – Newmarket, UK
Another winner on Newmarket debuts, Angel’s Pursuit pleased her trainer Richard Hannon when leading home a field of five.
The Malih L Al Basti-owned chestnut colt was bred by the Hong Kong Breeders Club on the same cross than 2006 Gr.2 Sandown Mile runner-up Babodana.
A half to 2007 Middle Park Stakes hero Dark Angel, the Pastoral Pursuits colt was purchased for £190,000 by his current owner from Bansha House Stables at the Doncaster Breeze Up Sale.
Angel’s Pursuit only run brings his earnings up to £15,181 thanks to another £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
BELL’S OCEAN
22nd May – Newmarket, UK
A runner-up on debut, Bell’s Ocean made it first home in this Newmarket European Breeders´ Fund Maiden Fillies´ Stakes. Estimated by her trainer John Ryan, the daughter of American stallion Proud Citizen was purchased back by her Irish-based vendor Oak Tree Farm for 20,000 gns at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale.
Owned by Ocean Trailers Ltd, Bell’s Ocean earned her £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus added to the £5,180 prize money, and has now cumulated earnings of £16,240 in just three races.
9. BARZAN
22nd May – Brighton, UK
Tom Dascombe-trained Barzan made it first home in Brighton over a six furlongs trip, becoming one of the forty £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus winner.
A son of successful sire Danehill Dancer out of the Nashwan mare Le Montrachet, the chestnut colt was a £58,000 Kern Lillingston purchase. Consigned by Jamie Railton Sales Agency at the Goffs Kempton Breeze Up Sale, Barzan is now owned by M A Al-Attiyah.
In two starts, Barzan has already cumulated £4,507 prize money to which can be added the £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
DANCING FREDDY
19th May - Nottingham, UK
A runner-up on his first two starts, the James Given trained Dancing Freddy turned the odds in his favor to break his maiden on third asking at Nottingham. The Chineur colt thus gained a £10,000 added to the initial prize money of £3,886.
Bought for £15,000 at the Goffs Kempton Breeze Up Sale by his current trainer on behalf of Danethorpe Racing Partnership, Dancing Freddy has already cumulated £15,398 of total earnings, less than two months after his purchase.
ELECTRIC FEEL
15th May - Newmarket, UK
Marco Botti-trained Electric Feel swiftly broke her maiden on debuts despite being amongst the most inexperienced fillies on the Newmarket racecourse.
The Bearstone Stud-bred Firebreak filly was consigned by Herringswell Manor Stud at the DBS Breeze Up Sales and purchased by McKeever St. Lawrence on behalf of current owner Joseph Barton for £36,000.
In only one start, Electric Feel cumulated the £15,181 of earnings thanks to a £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus.
6. RUSSIAN ROCK
11th May - Salisbury, UK
Russian Rock was another Breeze Up Bonus winner when breaking his maiden on second asking in Salisbury for Epsom-based trainer Roger Teal.
A Goffs Kempton Breeze Up Sale graduate, the son of Rock of Gibraltar was bought by his current trainer on behalf of owner M. Vickers from the Lynn Lodge Stud consignment. The Barronstown Stud-bred colt was a £26,000 purchase.
Russian Rock is now the earner of a total £16,476, two months only after his purchase.
WHOZTHECAT
11th May - Redcar, UK
Thanks to his comfortable victory in the Median Auction Maiden Stakes, Whozthecat adds a bonus £10,000 to the £2,047 prize money. On only his second start, Whozthecat thus becomes the fourth Breeze Up Bonus graduate, earning almost five times more than the usual prize money.
The two-year-old son of One Cool Cat was purchased at the Doncaster Breeze Up Sale for £15,000 by his trainer David Carroll on behalf of owner Ninerus.
KASPIRIT
11th May - Great Yarmouth, UK
The Michael Wigham trained Kaspirit was the comfortable winner of the Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Maiden Auction Stakes at Yarmouth this afternoon.
The daughter of Invincible Spirit was appearing on the racecourse for the second time after her debut at Folkestone where she was touched off by the useful Desert Auction. She is a graduate of Goffs Kempton Breeze Up.

James Bethell-trained Gertmegalush was the first winner of the £5,000 Breeze Up Bonus when landing a Selling Stakes by a length and a quarter on a fast Thirsk track.
Claimed out of Tom Dascombe´s stable further to a fourth place on debuts, the One Cool Cat gelding is now owned by Business Development Consultants Limited.
Withdrawn from the Doncaster Breeze Up Sales, Gertmegalush is now cumulating his £4,274 prize money with the £5,000 Bonus for total earnings of £9,274.

The second winner of an additional £10,000 courtesy of the Breeze-up Bonus was NOVAY ESSJAY, short head winner of the SIS Maiden Auction at Ripon.
Owned by Middleham Park Racing and trained by Patrick Haslam he was purchased from Doncaster Breeze Up Sale for £12,000 so his earnings to date are £13,238 just like LADY LUBE RYE more than his purchase price!

A Goffs Kempton Breeze Up graduate has become the first winner of the £10,000 Breeze Up Bonus Scheme. Trained by Noel Wilson, Lady Lube Rye won the Maiden Auction Stakes at Redcar.
Owned by D & S L Tanker Transport Ltd, the two year old Catcher In The Rye filly was bought by Noel Wilson for £10,000 at the Kempton Breeze in March. Her total prize money earned to date including the bonus is £12,590.
Con Marnane of Bansha House Stables, who sold of Lady Lube Rye and one of the formative members of the Breeze Up Bonus committee commented:
